Jacqueline Baker is the author of A Hard Witching & Other Stories, which won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, the City of Edmonton Book Prize, the Howard O'Hagan Award for Fiction, and was a finalist for the Rogers Writers Trust Award. Her bestselling first novel, The Horseman's Graves, was shortlisted for the Evergreen Award. She has recently selected and introduced a collection of H.P. Lovecraft stories, Shadowmen, and her new novel, The Broken Hours, is a literary ghost story featuring H.P. Lovecraft. Jacqueline lives with her husband and two daughters in Edmonton where she teaches creative writing at MacEwan University.
